I really enjoyed the free trial of this game. I thought it would be a plants vs zombie sequel but the game play is quite different, more involving - you control which plant to use, and where they shoot. It even got quite challenging, and I love a game that offers upgrades and achievements. But I got half way through the game in the hour free trial. It's too short. I'm not spending money for maybe another hour of fun. I prefer games that offer hours of gameplay.
This game is great, graphics and sound is amazing, love the gameplay, its very addictive
This is a plants vs. zombies type game. It was fun but i got bored about 20 mins into it. It's a game you should try before buying. It has basic game play, use the plants to destroy the oncoming horde before they steal your seeds. I would recommend this game to anyone that likes arcade style games.
Plants Vs Zombies is one of my all-time favourite games. This game has a similar premise; the plants are ranged at the left of the screen and the zombies come at you from the right. Differences are that the plants don't shoot by themselves, you have to quickly choose which plant to use and where to aim, and the zombies jump from platform to platform to get to your seeds. No, there isn't much of a story, but there wasn't really in PvZ either now I think about it. Just killing zombies. And there's nothing wrong with that; after all, none of us wants zombies either on our lawn or stealing our seeds, do we?
When I first saw this game, I was excited because BFG doesn't come out with many arcade games. I thought this game was going to be another Plants vs. Zombies, but I quickly, after 30 minutes of playing, realized it was far from P v. Z. At first, it was fun, but then it began to sour and got very annoying because of two things: 1) The constant recharging of the plant, and 2) The fact that it took so long to be able to get enough money to upgrade. Regarding the recharging. When you are on attack mode, you need something that can do the job. Because of the recharging, it hindered the attack of the enemy. Regarding to upgrade issue. It took too long to make enough money to be able to upgrade. I think when I first started playing, I was able to upgrade twice - maybe. It was very frustrating. Because of those two things above, I decided to uninstall the game. I really wanted to like this game, because these kinds of games are few and far between, but it just didn't stick.
I'm not sure what this game is trying to be. Defense, arcade style shooting game, strategy, time management? In any case, it is cute for 10 mins but fails beyond that. - Very short! Only 3 stages with 15 'levels' at each stage - Upgrades beyond the first level appear to take days of boring and repetitive game play. To achieve enough gold you have to repeat levels over and over just to get a second upgrade for the same 'shooter' - Unable to change player. There are no player options anywhere, so each time you log in you continue to play the same game - Quick learning curve and shallow levels quickly make game play tiresome If you do want to have this in your game collection, at least wait for a free credit.
This would make a terrific app for a phone but quite frankly it get's boring after just a short time. Basically you spit seeds at the zombies who are approaching you on various platforms. You will get soldiers like tomatoes and carrots and you have to click on which soldier you want to use. There are achievements to earn but I just don't think anyone will want to play this after the demo.
I find myself just clicking and clicking my mouse button over and over, it is not strategy, no thinking no planning just clicking and clicking with my game units that are over matched that can't keep up with computer next better unit...I gave up before demo time was up, not enjoyable and music is awful...if you like mindless arcade then great for you.
This is more of a platform game than a tower defense. There just weren't enough choices/upgrades to hold my attention for more than the free play.
